Welcome to Gone Surfing Studio – our self-catering apartment located directly across from the Umdloti tidal pool and just 10 minutes from King Shaka International Airport. Please review the terms below before making your booking.

📅 Booking, Payment & Cancellation Policy

🔐 Booking Confirmation

• Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of full payment.

• Payment secures your selected dates and is required to guarantee your stay.

💳 Cancellation & Refund Policy

Off-Peak Season (Feb–June & Sept–Nov, excluding Easter)

• 100% refund for cancellations 14+ days before arrival

• 50% refund for cancellations 7–13 days before arrival

• No refund for cancellations made less than 7 days before arrival (unless successfully rebooked)

Peak Season (Jul–Aug, Dec–Jan, Easter holidays)

• 50% refund for cancellations 14+ days before arrival

• No refund for cancellations within 14 days of arrival

📌 Peak periods are in high demand – please double-check your travel plans before booking.

🔁 Date Changes

• Changes to booking dates are allowed up to 7 days before check-in

• Changes are subject to availability and seasonal rates

• One complimentary date change per booking

🚫 No-Shows & Early Departures

• No refunds for no-shows or early check-outs

• Exceptions may be considered in the case of verified emergencies or force majeure

👥 Occupancy

• Sleeps up to 4 guests - 2 adults and 2 children

  • 1 queen-size bed

  • 1 double sleeper couch

• Suitable for couples, solo travelers, or small families

🏡 Rules & Terms of Stay

To ensure a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable stay for all guests, please take note of the following important house rules and conditions of booking:

• Maximum Occupancy: The apartment is strictly limited to a maximum of 4 guests - 2 adults and 2 children or 3 adults maximum.

• No additional overnight visitors are permitted.

• Responsibility for Fines & Damages: Any fines incurred from the Body Corporate due to breach of rules will be the responsibility of the guest making the booking. Guests also agree to cover the cost of any damages caused to the property during their stay.

• No Pets Allowed: For the comfort of all guests and in compliance with building rules, pets are not permitted.

• No Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the apartment.

• No Parties or Loud Music: This is a peaceful residential building. Parties, events, or loud music are not allowed.

• Accessibility Note: The unit is not suitable for guests with mobility issues, as there are 1.5 flights of stairs from the parking area to the lift.

💰 Rates & Offers

• Rates Are For The Whole Apartment:

  
  Off season: R1200 per night mid week - R1500 per night weekends minimum stay 2 nights.
  (Feb to June except Easter, Sept to Nov)

  Peak season: R1500 per night
  (Jul/Aug, Dec/Jan, and Easter holidays)
  Minimum stay 7 nights Dec/Jan

  Book direct: We will beat any rates
  Specials: Discounts for long stays
  Loyalty: Repeat guests get 10% off

  ✅ Rates are per unit (not per person) and include linen, towels, WiFi, and secure parking.
  ✅ Minimum stay: 2 nights (7 nights in peak season)
  ✅ Maximum occupancy: 4 guests (ideal for 2 adults + 1–2 children or small group)
